Danam Systems Inc., client, and KARI, end customer, were in our premises for the acceptance of two new Magali telemetry stations. The means will be installed on KSLV-II whose first qualification shot is scheduled for next October.

It was also an opportunity to present to KARI our know-how in the field of space: harness, structure, nanosat. Particularly impressed by our achievements on Ariane 5, illustrated by a tour of our facilities and the discovery of the Cité de l’Espace.

During 4 days 60 french aerospace companies made a tour in India, meeting the highest indian authorities for an Indo French seminar, running more than 400 business meetings and visiting a large number of Indian companies around the country. This tour shows the strong partnerships which exists between the two countries and the willingness of both sides to foster those partnerships.

Philippe GAUTIER, CEO of NEXEYA, was part of the delegation and visited such prestigious companies as Bharat Electronics, ISRO, Centum, Ananth..leveraging the long relationships that NEXEYA have with indian industry.

AVIC, the chinese aerospace giant, and NEXEYA signed on the 7th of March a long term partnership agreement.
The ceremony took place in Munich, in the presence of the management of AVIC EM, QAG, subsidiary of AVIC, Techsat, subsidiary of NEXEYA, and NEXEYA.
The parties agree to cooperate on research and development projects in the following areas: On-board system development, and Simulation, Integration and Test technology for safety-critical system development, production and maintenance.

They will also cooperate in business development to maximize the access to the aerospace markets worldwide, especially in China where the aerospace programs are ramping up very fast.
This Long Term Partnership is a new milestone in the cooperation between the parties for many years now.

ANGELS will be available by the end of 2019

Development leads in record time for France’s first industrial nano-satellite

CNES and NEXEYA, which jointly co-invested and developed ANGELS (Argos Neo on a Generic Economical and Light Satellite), the first French industrial nano-satellite, successfully passed the Preliminary Definition Review of the system and satellite, signing the completion of preliminary studies, only seven months after the launch of the project, a real record and confirming the availability of ANGELS by the end of 2019.

The objective of this project, launched in May 2017, is to develop and commercialize a range of satellites weighing less than 50 kg, particularly suitable for missions with operational objectives such as data collection (ARGOS, AIS, M2M) or spectrum monitoring. The CNES plays the card of disruptive innovation, both at the technical and governance levels. He brings his expertise to the industrial consortium with a team of engineers with solid experience in space, integrated into NEXEYA’s project platform. Thus, it brings together the best players in the sector in an innovative and balanced cooperation by making its skills and expertise available to industrial entrepreneurs. At the same time, the miniaturisation of the ARGOS-neo payload by Syrlinks and TAS is progressing in the same spirit of innovation in all areas of this development.

All the ressources are focused on keeping the extremely ambitious schedule and meeting the launch date at the end of 2019. In this sense, the first electronic circuit board engineering models are already available and the detailed design review will be held in early 2018. Largely collaborative for NEXEYA, the ANGELS project gathers numerous industrial partners such as CS, Erems, Mecano-ID, SAFT, Spacebell and Steel. It also brings together multiple talents and takes up multiple challenges such as the resistance of the equipment to radiation, the control of disruptive electromagnetic emissions or the particularly short development schedule. This key milestone has now been successfully achieved and the Smallsat range will begin to be marketed, which will enable the French space industry to take its full place in NewSpace.

NEXEYA is now present in France, Canada, Morocco, Germany, China and the United States from legal entities and in 40 other countries through local partners.
